This sticky thread is reserved for users to post their *actual* experience in test fitting various E46 *factory* wheels on their E90 cars. The bolt patterns and offsets match between the two cars, but the brakes are slightly larger on the E90.

Lets keep it simple such as : "M68 wheels from 02 330Ci test fit on 06 325I, cleared the brakes and fit with no problem".

I have just purchased a new 325I and put the Blizzak LM-22s mounted on Sport Edition 5 spoke wheels that I had for my 2001 325I E46. The wheels went on very easily and had no clearance problems. I have few miles on them, but everything seems fine.

Yes, they[E46 M3] fit, and can run stock M3 fitments.

I had OEM 18 M3 wheels on my E90, they required a 10mm spacer in the front to make it look "right"

I have snows on now (running E46 330 wheels, not the m ones though) and i needed 15mm in the rear, and ideally, 25mm rear, 5-10 front.

What does this mean? They fit, but may need to fool with spacers to make it look right. E90 Wheels are a bit more set into the body than the E46; allowing more wheel suspension travel into the body, especially in the rear. This can make it a bit deceiving as to what looks good, and what is going to rub over bumps with people in the rear.

I put style 71's (ET 47 front and ET 50 rear) from my 04 E46 coupe on my new E92. The offsets were way off and would have required 20mm spacers in the rear and 15mm spacers in the front to make it look near flush with the fender. Too bad too b/c I loved those wheels. I ended up selling them and getting 19" M6 reps. Should be getting them at the end of the week.

Hi,

I want to install winter tires on my 323i 2007 (E90). My car is equipped with 205/55 R16 Run Flat Tires. I have been offered the following tires and alloy wheels set up. Both sets were installed on a E46 3 series.

1st Choice:
- 4 Alloy Wheels 16" (OEM) w/ ContiWinterContact tires 225/50 R16. The wheels have a 48mm offset.

2nd Choice:
4 Alloy Wheels 16" (Aftermarket) w/ Toyo tires 225/50 R16. The wheels have a 38mm offset.

Should I put them on my E90 or stay away from these combinations? Should I buy E90 wheels with Run Flat Winter tires?

Who could guide me on this? Thanks all for your help.

i though is not posible to replace the Wheels and tires(RFT) on the sport package E90 cause it will affect the handling of the car!
i want to replace them but i can't get any information about the conversion!
the only thing i know is that theres a new upcoming performance package for the E90 !
