Exclamation 335i Tires Cupping at 4K miles

Heads up 335i owners. I recently noticed that my front tires were cupping; a quick trip to the dealer revealed the front end alignment (specifically the toe in) was out of tolerance. Sure I've done some hard cornering on these curvy German roads, but I haven't hit any pot holes or curbs. Perhaps it's just the suspension settling in. No, my wife has never driven the car; she once bent a strut on my 300M.

If you've had a similar problem, let me know.

I have 10K on my tire and no problem. If I were either of you I would be at the dealer.

MKOV608--is it okay now?

Yes! After the Schall Dealer in Bitburg aligned all four wheels the tires look fine now. Just glad I caught it early. I've got 9K miles on the car now.

I am having the same problem on my 328i. I took it to the dealer and they said that my tires are cupping. I have also noticed that my alignment is off and veering to the right, the dealer says that it is fine though. Any suggestions?

Not sure what to tell you. The dealer gave me the same story that it's normal to pull to the right, especially if you have the sports package. I realize all cars have a slight pull to the right, but this seems more than normal. I'll continue to watch my tires for treadwear.

I keep watching my tires and the tread wear as well. I also check the tire pressure weekly and it is steadily getting worse. Road Noise is getting louder etc......... does anyone think I should just Purchase (different) new tires or the same tires (just new ones)? I doubt the cupping on the tires will get any better, probably only worse.
