Need Some Help With Snow Wheels and Tires and Tire Pressure Monitor

So My Mother has an 06 328Xi coupe with the 18 inch wheel option. The car has performance ties on it and they just dont cut it in the winter for my mother, i have a set of my M68's form ym E46 with snow tires mounted on them, the offset will look wierd but i am confident they will work, my concern is the tire pressure monitor. Will it give me a problem or will it jsut show that there is an error?

You should be fine

The tire pressure monitor wont be affected. Make sure the tire shop knows pressure monitors are bolted under the valve stems.

you'll be fine

however im sure you'll have some warning lights and or tones to deal with at start up. not "deal" as in worry about them... just "warning" lights to look past.

I'm about to do what you did to your Mom's car and change wheels and tyres
to non TPMS type.. I;m very interested to find out how you got on when you did it. Do you get a warning every time you start the car and is it annoying ?.
