UK Spec E90 Standard stereo

Hi all,

I have a 2006 330d M Sport and have recently upgraded the front door speakers with Inifinty co axials. This has sharpened up the top end a treat and the bass seems to be a little better but obviosly a 4" (10cm) speaker is never going to do a great job of the lower frequencies.

I keep reading on various sites about E90s having under seat subs. Pretty sure my car doesnt have these as it is the CD tuner basic stereo- no changer.

Can anyone offer any advice as to whether its possible to retro fit one of these subs as well as telling me if i will need an amp to drive it?

I don't think there are very many E90ers modding their cars yet, at least not near as many as the E46ers. Check out this website as it shows some compatible equipement for you. It is USA, but maybe there is something similar for UK:
