Black out emblems

Has anyone blacked out their oem emblems? How did you do it? What did you use? I bought some aftermarket crap but it turned yellowish after a week.

I own a black 07 328i...i simply removed them...looks better without the wording on the trunk in my opinion.. Easy to do...just get fishing line and or floss and a hair dryer....heat it up for abt 5min..run the line through the back of the emblems...comes right off...then peel the rest of the residue off...simple

I think one of the sponsors on here sells a carbon fiber vinyl sticker for the emblems, or just black.
