My Ride: 2003 BMW 325i

E92
I found a 2007 335i couple with about 105,000 miles on it for $15,000...is this a good buy? With that much amount of miles, would I have to deal with any major repairs soon?

My Ride: e92 335i

I've been searching around for a e92 335i same as you since my e46 got wrecked earlier this month. This is the info I've found so far.
Cars built before March 2007 don't come with an oil cooler, you'll probably want one built later since you're in Florida. HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) had a factory recall or something Carbon likes to build up on the valves because of direct injection. From what I've read, it's probably a good idea to get it cleaned off every 30k-50k miles, depending on how the car was driven during that time. And, the usual gaskets and stuff that would go on the e46 are still going on the e90/e92. |
