Clicking noise when cutting the wheel???

Hey guys... new to this forum, hoping someone out there will know the answer to this question. I was in my driveway tonight turning around, and I cut the wheel far right, and there was a clicking sound coming from under the hood. I cut the wheel the other way, same noise happened. All i csn think of is a car a freind had a long time ago that would squeel loudly when he cut the wheel!! Anybody out there had this happen to them, and if so, what caused it??

Do you hear it when you hit the stop on either side or while turning the wheel? Is it constant clicking or a one-time click?

I haven't driven mine that long with the holidays around and haven't heard clicking when hitting the stops (though i don't ever really hit them), but the squeal is usually the belt and PS pumps do tend to whine (not the belt) when they hit the stops. If it is whining throughout then you should at least check the fluid level.
