The E9X is the latest evolution of the BMW 3 series including the highly tuned twin turbo 335i variant pushing out 300hp and 300 ft. lbs. of torque. BMW continues to show that it sets the bar for true driving performance! Post questions about "upgrading" from your current E46 here or jump over to E90Fanatics.com! |

E92 335I idrive iphone connection issues
Hi,
I have just bought a 2008 335i with i drive. Having trouble getting my iphone connected for music. I never realised just how much hassle this was going to be when I traded my e46 330. Thought I could simply remove the hi fi and fit my alpine system, but doesn't seem to be the case here. looks like BMW have deliberately integrated the Hi Fi to stop this. So far distiictly unimpresed with the car! Oh it has lots of power but, lacks the feel of the e46. Was wondering has anyone found a way to get an i phone to work with the i drive? I only have an AUX connector, not the USB that some have. Any ideas? ![]() Thanks, Bruce: |

Not sure you can. I have 08 335i e92 but it came with the iPod connector which was an option. I orders 13 e92 335i which comes with a combox allows connector to USB for iPod and iPhone via USB no need for the y adapter Cable.
