Question Nav. software upgrade - "go home" is no longer single command :(

Hi everyone,

I've got the 2009 328i; still under warranty. Today, front passenger seat passenger detection mat found as faulty and needed to be replaced. Service took care of it, but the service description says something about software upgrade because what was there was incompatible.

Whatever it is.. I am noticing strange changes in the system.

The Bluetooth calling experience is improved. For example, it can now properly recognize the address fields in my Outlook contacts and just navigate to those. Great!

However, I used to be able to say "go home" and it'd respond with "route guidance started".. at that point the route would have entered and guidance would have been started.

But now.. when I say "go home", it responds: "Home address... start or add as new" (or something like that), which requires me to then say "start"..

While this wouldn't have been a big deal, I'm annoyed by the added step. Could I be missing some configuration item somewhere? or perhaps set the home address incorrectly maybe?

If it's relevant, I'm saving "current location" as a contact item to be stored on vehicle, and choosing home address option.

If there is a way for me to gather some firmware revision # for comparison purposes, let me know. I had been already running the 2012 version of the maps for long time (i.e. predates this "go home" behavior change)

Thanks in advance for any thoughts on why this could be happening.
