Like the OJ re-enactment

I've been wondering...Block and team requests sections of the city to be shut down for him to do this. Why would the city actually grant permission? Seems like a huge inconvenience, especially in a congested area like the 110. I'm sure they did it at dawn on a weekend or something to minimize impact, but still, doesn't make sense why the city would go for it.

Did you see one of the final aerial cuts? They had all the cars backed up on the freeway for quite some ways.

Any guesses on the top speed? Those gears sounded super short. I'm thinking ~100.

At first I was like "no way that screen shows the gear, no way he's in 6th right now" and then I listened to it and I was like holy ****, dudes got a 6 speed geared for the 8th mile in this bitch. I'd love to get ahold of the gears / rear end/ tire height of that thing to figure out it's top speed. He had it pinned on the hwy and didn't seem to be moving much faster than traffic.

I might sit down later and figure out how fast that scene was, it wouldn't be hard if you know the length of the stripes on the road.

edit: No stripes, but surely Jersey barriers are a standard length, we could use that.

He's nice with it. I truly do wonder what the dollar amount was on this project.

Less than what he will make from it. Lol. But probably a ridiculous amount.

That was awesome!

I just can't believe how much of the city they must have shut down, during the day, the film most of this! That's more insane that the stuff we've all seen Ken Block do already.

I want to know how they're making money. Sure they'll get some ad revenue from youtube, but other than advertising DC and Ken Block how are they generating revenue?

YouTube hits, and advertising for ken block and dc. I think that's it. Think about who watches these videos. A LOT of people. So I really think that's all. Think about it. Have you ever seen a DC/hoonigan commercial? No. Because this is their commercial.
