Spyder Headlights

What do we think about the brand Spyder for headlights? Are they worth it?

I have a 2008 328i, I ordered and installed spyder auto headlights, the projector ccfl, black, 5029652. They are great! You have to remove the front bumper to install but they are worth it. I did not go HID. Instead I installed Ostran cool blue intense bulbs. They are bright with white light very close to HID. It took me some time to adjust the high and low beam. Spyder Auto is great they have tech staff always available by phone. No going back and forth with emails.

Your gonna get a warning bulb light out on your dash but it will go away, you're just left with the hazard light

The headlights or the hid kit, I did both haha the headlights wasn't the worst putting in. Hardest part was just all the screws holding the bumper lol so make sure you get all of them (I'll find the link of where I found a video on removing it). The hids were pretty simple installing, I mounted the kit in the engine bay on the liner of the wheel well with Velcro. The kit is pretty self explained can't really screw it up just make sure your positive and negative going to the h1 bulb is right (the new headlights have h1 bulbs in it for high and lo beams so make sure you get the right hid kit)

Ya I went to a auto place to check them out so they will order the right parts but $150 is to install both I'm just going to pay for that because there's no way I can do it on my own. What did you do with the old headlights?

It's honestly not bad doing it yourself, buy the torx screw driver if you don't have it, here's the site step by step. I didn't follow the hid kit installation guide at the end http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...0&d=1403102365

These are different than the ones I get, different model. I'm thinking those go on with the turn signal maybe try that, if they work than either they wired it up wrong or they just don't work like that or they have a problem lol

It looks like the top light is on just not strong enough. Maybe just changing the bulb to a led with do the trick? And I bought mine off ebay with a 2 yr warrantee for $220
