New Owner of a E90
Hi! I am a new owner of a E90 323i. I wanted to find out more about the security of the car. Meaning, can the car be broken into (via opening one of the doors) and hot wiring the car and driving it off without the key?
Would anybody recommend any additional security feature? If so, what should or could be added in? |

I'm in with the same question.
My thgoughts are (i) since I can have a replacement cost as part of my insurance for the next 3 yrs, this is not such a critical question, and (ii) generally, I don't believe that any after market alarm system would likely be any better than the original's engine immobilizer system, thus I don't think any alarm I could buy would be any more effective deterant. I would welcome any comments on my assumptions here. |
