Power seat Motor

Have any one replaced the driver side power seat motor. My daughter has a 330ci and when she was moved the seat all the way back the seat would not go back forward. She took the car to a BMW dealer and they told her the motor was gone and she ordered the motor. This weekend I will attempt to replace it. Have anyone done this before that can provide some helpfull information.

Check you connection to the motor. My seat did the same thing only to find that the connectgion had come loose. I was able to clip it on firmly and 5 yrs down the road it still works perfectly.
