Angry BMW alarm coding nightmare!

Hello all: I am a new owner of a 2009 335i E90 & this is my first post. I bought this car in May & decided I would purchase & install the BMW alarm system. Installation was simple as the car was pre-wired-all I had to do was connect the three components. The clown nose was blinking but of course the siren didn't work so I scheduled an appointment to have the vehicle coded for the new BMW alarm. After waiting for two hours I was told there was a problem with the BMW main computer & they would have to do it all over again & this could take several hours. After waiting SIX hours there was still a problem & my car is still at the dealers. I was told the problem was not with my car but with BMW's main computer-there was a "glitch" in the system. Has anyone ever ran into this problem with coding their car for the BMW alarm system? This has turned into one of the biggest nightmares I have ever had with any car I have ever owned! Thanks for your replies, Duke.

Tomorrow will be day #3. The memory module (CIC) is wiped out & will have to be replaced. I doubt if the car will be running again until next week . After the module is replaced the entire car will have to be programmed again. Could someone have pressed the wrong key when programming?? Anyone ???

Now 9 days in the shop. All components have been replaced....dealer is still unable to program the computer. A BMW tech will be flown in Monday to try & resolve the problem. This really sucks. My first & last BMW. There is a real problem with the computer system in these cars as the dealer has had several problems lately with trying to program the computers on other cars as well. Mine has been the worst. BMW---"THE ULTIMATE NIGHTMARE."
