Texas dealership builds their own 335i tii - pictures
Not nearly as well done as the 135 tii but a cool show piece none the less. It looks like they got a 135 tii wheel and put it on, I wonder if it works. Not sure about the price though.

They should have used gloss black and cleared it. That flat point kills it IMO. Otherwise, good idea.

What's sick is that the tire and wheel package is $4635. The BMW Performance wheels are $2298. The crappy Bridgeston RFT's that they stick on there are an additional $2337. The tires cost more than the wheels. THAT'S SICK. You can slap on some much better Michelin PS2's, Bridgestone RE-01R's, or Goodyear Eagle F1-GSD3's and SAVE over $1000.
Sorry, I hate RFT's. Horrible sporting tire.

I saw (actually drooled over) this car "in person" a few days ago.
It is at Classic BMW in Plano, Texas. Plano is a suburb of northern Dallas and is a top notch dealership. I got my 335 and have my service done there. They call this "Project 3" and they have a twin on the floor...a 135.
The car is very cool and attracks a lot of attention. I really could not tell what was done to the car beyond the stripe and cosmetic treatments, but is really was the star on the sales floor.
Lots of money though.....

No arguement however, I like my bimmers with a bit more stealth and less flash. I'm even considering debadging my 335 (oh god the in-humanity!) and blackening out the front platic grills. Think Darth Vader.
We have a lot of rice-rockets in North Texas--you know---big wheels, fender flares, BIG exhaust pipe and neon crap every where. Thump, thump, thump.
I guess I'm a rebel.
