Replacing Chrome "Border" Around e92 Windows?

Hey everyone-

I've been jumping around reading the forums for a while now and have decided to join the community . That being said, I just got myself a new e92 335 this week, which i'm looking to completely murder out. The chrome grills are a simple fix, the 335 symbol on the back is a simple fix as well seeing that most online dealers sell black versions. The one foreseeable problem with completely murdering out the car is the chrome "border" if you will around the windows of the two doors. Is there any way to replace that with a black piece or anything? Any help is much appreciated. If you don't know what I'm talking about check the picture below (not a pic of my ride, just used the image for explanatory purposes):




The chrome around the windows is what I'm talking about.

ya, i wouldn't order a replacement for it, i would just get it vinyled over in black, most tint shops can do this or car customizing places, just look in the yellow pages or if you know a tint place go there and ask

Welcome! We are actually working on a kit for cars that come stock with the Chrome trim...we are testing it right now on our E92 335 but should have more info soon.

Nice, this is what I wanted to hear . How long until you think the kit will be put into production (aka when can i buy one )? Also, any idea on price?
