Oil Reset HOW To!!!

Guys i just changed my gf oil in her 06 330i and i have no idea how to reset the oil indicator. I called the dealer and they refused the car went out of warranty just 2k miles ago...

Anyone here can lead me in the right direction...

You have to use a tool to reset the oil indicator. Don't forget to look at the maintenance book to see what else needs to be looked at besides the oil, because I usually change my oil between the recommended intervals but take it to the dealer when the light goes off...and I know they do several things besides change oil and filter.

I googled a tool for you because I couldn't remember the name brand I have seen.. A Reset tool like a Peake R5 or R5-FCX is needed to reset the oil service or inspection service lights after required service.
