2008 335i Dinan Flash Upgrade

As I'm not a huge fan of ECU flash upgrades (BMW warranty issues, longevity of engine, stress on diverter valve, etc.....), I was wondering if anyone out there can give me some advice on whether it's worth the money, hastle and possible downstream issues on having a Dinan Flash upgrade done on my new 335i?

Also, it seems to be a hell of a lot more expensive than the UpSolute upgrade I had done on my Audi A4 1.8T Quattro back in 2004! I had the flash upgrade done + diverter valve change for $600.

The N54 engine and accompanying ECU are much more advanced than the A4 1.8T. The question of if it's worth it is based on what you expect to get out of it. Do you want a warranty to cover any problems? Are you looking for maximum power, or maximum SAFE power? Ask stuff like that and make your determination. People who have Dinan will swear by them, but it's definitely a niche product. I personally love Dinan and am 100% satisfied with everything they make. They put a lot of engineering and R&D into their products and don't just slap something together haphazardly.

335i Sedan Steptronic 0-100km/h acceleration with Dinan Stage 2 flash upgrade

Does anyone know what the 0-100 km/h acceleration (sec) would be on a 335i sedan with steptronic automatic transmission???? Has anyone tested this?

Would 3.4secs sound unreasonable?

So what would be an expected number with the Dinan Stage 2 upgrade on a 335i with steptronic trans?

I think you'll see something around around 4.3-4.5 seconds. The Dinan can hang pretty close to an M3 Coupe, and the E92 M3 posts a 0-60 time of 4.2 or 4.3 seconds (I forget which).
