Navigation or non nav???

I have a choice of a black saphire on coral red with nav, or a jet black w coral without nav (did not think the nav was worth the extra $$$). Need some input on here. Thanx

From what I saw in a 2005 330i, navigation system sucked. Unless they made it whole lot better, I would not get it unless they throw it in for free. Off the shelf portables GPS units are 10 times more user friendly and useful.

I didn't get one with my '08' 335 since I already had a Garmin 660. I like the portability of the Garmin.

I've got the pro Sat Nav on my 335 secondhand & it's pretty good, bit slower to programme with the I drive than a Tom Tom. Overall it's OK but as a £2k option - no way !
Hope I get some the value back on re-sale in 3 years time

Keep in mind that nav is just part of idrive and I think that idrive itself is awesome.
