M3 and 335 upgrades

Hi. I'm curious to know what people's thoughts are on the future upgrades for the new M3. I'm currently contemplating either the 335 or the M3. There are several power upgrades out there already that will bring the 335 close if not beyond the performance of the stock M3 for much less money. The question is what will be available for the M3 and how high will that go? Is there anything with the new engine that would make upgrades difficult? I would expect simple stuff like a cold air kit and exhaust would come along fairly soon. How about FI?

Just for reference I currently own an '02 330i. Sport package with an AA C30 S/C that I installed myself. That puts it pretty close in power to the stock 335.

Dinan speculates they will have the new M3 in the 700+ hp ball park within a couple of years. i can imagine the price range for these upgrades will easily reach in the 20k range though. The best bang for your buck would be the 335i

Actually Dinan has already developed a 520hp stroker kit for the E90/E92 ///M
