Angel Eye/halo Upgrade

Is there a how to or install guide for the white light halo upgrade for the e90? Looking into switching out the yellow halo lights for pure white ones.

Also what is the best place to get the replacement kits/bulb?

Thanks- Goonski

Hi Goonski,

We just completed our Predator ICE E90 angel eye upgrade which is a direct LED based replacement module for your OEM halogen based units. These not only increase light output but change the color to a pure xenon white to better match your xenons.

How's the install? Easy to get to the replacement bulbs? Also what's pictured...3 or 5 watt?

Pretty easy install actually, takes about 10 minutes per side. That is the 3W version pictured, we have more pics now up on the product page

Just got the first shipment of my order...best $5 I've spent in a while for the LED side markers. Can't wait for my halo upgrade to come in. Will get some pics up (have tinted lenses up front - will see how they look).

HA! It takes about an hour the first time, and 5 minutes for the next one.

I admit, it took longer to jack up the car and take the wheel off than it did to install the new LED for the halo on the 2nd side, but the first one was a PITA. The clips are so hard to see.

jdl-

Any more info? I've heard you have to take of the wheel well lining? Which side? What can you tell me about your install? Any tips? Thanks in advance,

Goonski

Here is a thread that will help you. You do have to take off the fender liner but it's not difficult, easiest with the wheel removed.
