Bridgestone RFT's

Anyone having trouble with these tires?

I brought the car in to the dealer. The car sounded as though the balance was out on one or more of the tires.

They explained that this annoying noise is coming from the tires and is fairly common.

The car has only 12,000 miles and I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this

They are a mess. Even my dealer dislikes them. One week after I got my 335i, a nail got stuck in the "reinforced" sidewall. They plugged/patched it, but it still had a slow leak. Dealer says these Bridgestone RFT's must be only replaced never repaired. He said he had another client get a flat the day after buying his new Bimmer, the client was livid when he also had to buy a new tire the day after he bought a new car. I am not happy with the ride quality and the noise either.

The ride and the noise is aweful, I am going to change to non RFT next, and buy the continental kit to fix the flat. It will also be a lot cheaper. A lot of people are doing this, there are other threads discussing it.
