All 2007 328i sedan owners with auto

I am one of the first owners of the 2007 328i Sedan (10/06), and I have experienced hard "bucking" of the automatic transmission upon acceleration from a complete stop, only after the car has been driven for more than 30 minutes and stopped for more than 30 seconds (like at a traffic light). The 328i does this in normal and sport mode, but not when manually shifted. After two trips to the BMW repair center, the "master mechanic" said that it is likely a computer software/transmission "known issue" that BMW would need to resolve in the future. The X3 apparently already has a "known issue" just like this, with no solution yet.

My question to other 2007 328i automatic owners is do you notice this problem? If this is a software problem, everybody should have the same problem. I look forward to your comments.

I have a 335i sedan with steptronic, and the tranmission is definitely finicky from a standing start. Just trying to get off to a smooth start is difficult... with no power coming on at first, then sudden lurch... so I really gotta feather-foot it carefully to roll it off smoothly. I thought it just needed break in... still under 500 miles on my odometer... if it doesn't cure itself after 1200 miles, I'm taking it in.
