E92 M3 wider than regular E92??

Are the new M3 fenders wider than the regular E92 like the E46 M3 or are both cars the same width like the E36 M3 ? Thanks for answers

The fenders are wider on the M3. The e92 M3 and the e92 shares almost no body panels. Only the doors, trunk, headlights, and tail lights are from the e92.

Are you sure? The front fenders are different from the coupe because of the vents, not sure they are actually wider.

The front track of the E92 M3 is 60.55" compared to 59.1'' for the E92. The rear track of the E92 M3 is 60.59" compared to 59.6" for the E92. So, based off that, the E92 M3's front fenders should be wider than the E92's.

if the fenders were not wider, then it would not be an M3

no they were not...but that was before ///M cars really matured.
on second thought...the e30 M3 had different fenders from it's 3er siblings....i have no idea why the e36 M3 didn't have a beefier shell than it's corresponding 3er siblings

Yea it was weird although the E30 M was the first real production M (cant really include the M1) so they went a bit crazy with it, the E36 M was a very blend in car, it wasnt much more on the outside then an E36 coupe with an Mtech kit on it.
