Hey all, debating on 335

Just wanted to say hello and that you guys have a great forum here.

So my lease is coming up on my A4 and Ive been researching other cars. It came down to the new G35 and really loved it. I took a drive next door to the BMW dealership just to test drive the 335 and honestly not like it. Unfortunately, I loved it.

So now here I am doing research from yet ANOTHER forum. I had a bad taste in my mouth from the closest dealership from me and have refused to take my M3 there since new. Ive done all my maintenance myself over the years.

Regardless, I found a dealership that has been nothing but awesome and my salesperson is a fellow enthusiast(modifier) which helps a lot. He gave me lease numbers that were similar if not better than the g35.

Now I just have to debate whether or not I want to go back to BMW. Of course everyone here is going to biased towards BMW. Its not a bad thing but Ive had a bad time with problem after problem with my Audi and have wanted to get into something more reliable (ie: japanese). My parents had an e46 328ci and had things falling apart with it. I just dont want to make the same mistake twice.

I understand that it doesnt happen with every car but BMW's havent always had stellar reliability. I worked in BMW service for a bit, I know. Im just scared going back into it.

That being said, driving the 335 today reminded me that nothing is LIKE a BMW unless it IS a BMW. Red, white, or monaco blue....what to do.

Thanks for listening. Hope to get back into the loop after leaving the BMW world for a while.

I have a feeling you're going to be back, so welcome! Surely if you're leasing you don't have to worry too much about any problems, as your car will always be in warranty, and when it does have to be in the shop for maintenance the BMW dealer will give you a loaner. Go ahead, get the Monaco Blue, you know you want to!

i currently drive a G35c and can't wait to go back to BMW - 335ci. the drive, quality and meticulous design is unmatched in this price range. get a bimmer! you will regret getting the g35c (i did)...its a hot car but missing the more important aspects of that class of vehicle.
