**Following a BMW order, with status codes and dates!**

This is my 335i coupe order. I will update the thread with dates as things change! The 3 diget number on the left is the actual status code BMW assigns to orders...and the dates next to each status are exact. An ordered car can be modified while in status 111 and 112.

so do you think my CA is a bit too aggressive saying that i will take delivery in week 13 with a prodcution number of 358xxxx, which is going to be produced week 10? he says because i am east coast and its a Pri. 1 it will be here by then? what is your assesment?

call and ask him what status it's in. ...i'd check for you but unless the car is in my inventory i can't access the info via your production number...however, i can search for the car if you give me specifics about how it's being built exactly and what dealership it's in and i'll get you what info i can

well i supply all my information in my signature line.
i bought my car from Otto BMW (West Chester, PA).
i think i am in 111 status, as when i call automated 800# says no production date set.

found your car. it's in 112 status currently! i would estimate it'll for sure go into production during week 10...by friday the 2nd of March!

also it's a bummer they havne't released pricing for the ipod adpt yet. i bet it'll be in the $300 range...

you are awesome!! so you can see i ordered the iPod adapter, yesterday i coudln't get the 800# customer rep. to confirm.

do you think its possible, since its Pri. 1 i could get it by the end of march? i am in the Philly area, so close to the east coast

How long does the car take at the VPC before it' goes to the dealer? My car is there right now that is why I am asking.

it depends on if your car is in priority one and how busy they are...could be anywhere from 3 to 20 days...or even longer if the car gets damaged at the port!

Damn You serious that is a pretty long time. I am starting to get in patinent now. Also how often do they update that order status on BMWUSA.com?
