Negotiating a 335i

Has anyone had any luck negotiating on 335i coupes? The best I have heard of is $900 off sticker.

depends on what area you're looking in i guess. in so cal right now, they are nearly impossible to get. for instance, crevier bmw (the largest in the western region) currently has ONE in stock. The car is currently an MSRP car...not seeing any discount. 335i sedans on the other hand

if something is in high demand while in short supply...one would have to expect the pricing to tighten up. so, if you get even $100 (let alone 900) off on that car, you should consider it a blessing!

Yeah in California I would expect it to be stiff. The 900 off was from a Chicago dealership. I am in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

I bought my 335cpe over the phone, just called up a dealer and told him what I was interested in, he checked and found a car very close to what I wanted already on the ship headed to another dealer that he had a good relationship with and that he was sure he could trade for; he gave me the MSRP and I asked if he would take $1500 off and we would keep it very simple and easy; he checked with his manager and they agreed, deal done.
If you really are ready and know what you want, you might find a saleman who is willing to sacrifice a bit for a relatively easy transaction. This was in mid November and its likely that supply is tighter now, but you never know. I am in the Northeast (Boston) and I bought it from a dealer in NH, 1 hour away, figured they might be more hungry than the in town dealers. Good luck man.....

Would saving 1000 or even 1500 on that car add to your enjoyment or enable you to afford it more?! ...take teh 500 and run!!!!

Yes it would for me. It increases the enjoyment knowing I got such a great deal on the car, versus knowing I only got an okay deal. $1000-2000 off translates into $30-60 less on lease payments, and less taxes. In an age of nickel and diming in every aspect of life, I take what I can get, becasue it adds up quickly.

I agree. I understand that 1K off a 40+K car is not much, but a thousand dollar is a thousand dollar. I had a salesman get somewhat upset when I told him that every bit of savings count. He basically said that I shouldn't be looking into getting a 335i if I wanted to spend less. He recommended the 328i! Hey, a thousand dollar can be spent on accessories!

Thanks but I already closed on one. Got 500 off and tint, floormats included... I feel like I got taken but no one around here would deal. Isn't going to come in until May though! Long wait.

The current lease on my car will be up on 5/1/07. I would like to order the coupe for a late April delivery if the price is right. Can you hook me up with some name/numbers? So far, I got a quote of $564/month plus tax for a 36 months/12k miles lease. This is only with an auto and the sport package. Obviously, I think this number is rather high. I am in Orange County, CA. Thanks in advance.

Order from German

I heard. you can get 4000 less or dealer invoice. if you order it directly from german. How would this work? you buy ticket to german pick up the car there. you have to drop your car off one of their port. you spend couple of weeks on vacation in europe. . you wait 2 months later. you can pick up the car there. Who will finance my Car you ask? Well BWM Finance will do it if you have good credit score. there u go.. u get your car wat u want. n plus save $$$$$$$$

Get 335i 4dr Sedan with 6spd Manual

I got my T-Silver color(ext) Black (int) 335i 4dr 6spd basic from New Century BMW in ALhambra CA got 37000 local dealership. 335i sedan 6spd have the same preformance and same engine base. The body are totally different. but the engine are same. Advantage from having sedan, you can bargain down. and more discount if you are on budget. So dont ***** about the dealership wont give u good price on the 335i. 335i Coupe = More Demand = little supple = Little discount n no bargain. BWM make it that way for profit. waitting time for coupe is averaging about 3 to 6 months. BWM Manifacture only build 1 model for every 3 months. so if you are lucky. when u are ordering it .. the manifacture starting to build 335i coupe. Otherwise u have to wait for 6 months.

You can get roughly $1000 or so over European Invoice. European Invoice on a 335i coupe for example is about $2900 less than the U.S. invoice. Read my link for details. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I am picking up my 335i via European Delivery in May.

As far as the OP and Negociating a 335i, have you tried internet sales? Contact each Internet sales dept (they usually have a listing on the particular dealer's website) and see if they can do xxxx over invoice. My sister bought her E90 in San Diego for $800 over invoice this way. If you need a recommendation, PM me and I'll give you who I went thru for Internet sales. Very professional and nice internet fleet mgr..
