no production date, can i add an option?

i do have a production number, but no date specifying when production will begin. can i add the comfort access system, or is too late?

do you guys think that option is worth it?

I'm getting that option. as long as you're still in 112 status you can modify your car. call your sales rep and he'll tell you if its too late.

and i found out updated iDrive and isb (new ipod interface) will be part of my order!!!

march production has the ipod integration from the factory...but it ain't free

part of my order has 3 dealership accessories: alarm, ipod, 35% tint. so now i will save money by having the factory install the new ipod integration! sweet!

when you say march production, could that car start production before march....my car is "on order" and waiting for production. i was told that it will have this new device. with that said, does that mean my car will not start production until 3/1 at the earliest?

that's exactly right. i was in the same position and thought about waiting until march to order mine, but i need it the first week of april, so i had to go with feb production. mine started a few days ago. i believe that the first avail 335i coupe production numbers for march begin in week 10 of this year.

And, yes, there is no way you're able to order the ipod-usb adaptor unless the car is built in the month of march. Your car is probably in satus 111 (which is on order), and in the last week of this month to the first week of next it will move to 112 (which is about to enter production). Until it hits status 150, the car is only a dream in the system 150 means she's being built.

i live in philly area, when do you think i will take delivery if my car goes to 150 on 3/1?

wow and my dealer told me late march, 1st week of my at the worst scenario...as they say it only takes 6-8 weeks once you get a production number, and as you can see i got my prod. number 1/31.

maybe it is a bit shorter on the east coast... travel time across the ocean is probably about 2 weeks or so. so if it does get produced in week 10, it'll be on the boat by week 11 to 12, at the port around week 14 to 15 and dealer delivery just after.

i am also a Priority 1, not sure how much that speeds up the process?

priority one will help you get the car sooner...both in how the car is loaded onto the boat and how it's processed at the VPC.
