E93 M3 to have carbon fiber kevlar hard top

Quote:
While all of our competitors bit the bait and reported that the next BMW M3 convertible will have a canvas top for performance reasons, the Spies were busy working on the REAL story for you.

Reliable sources tell AutoSpies.com that BMW will one up the competition on the next convertible M3, by employing a fully retractable carbon fiber Kevlar roof, in order to get the highest performance AND functionality.

This should be quite a coup for BMW if they can pull this off!

You heard it hear first!

I don't know what they are basing this on, but it sounds really cool!

I could see CFRP used for the material as in the M6.. only time will tell but I guarantee it will not be a soft top!

Yep! If this is true I wonder how long it takes for someone to retrofit one on a 335 vert
