i have the H&R race with stock non-sport shocks. been running this setup for 8-9 months now on these horrible montreal roads. and no problems with the shocks, and the springs dont rid all the rough to be honest. they actually feel alot like stock springs..

I love my HR sport......perfect dropped for my 20s......

I had the HR Race first....and it was too low.....rubbing issues!

But ride quality has been great.....better than the 162's runflats!

The sports will eliminate most of the gap and give you a bit firmer ride over OEM with a similar increase in performance. The race will almost tuck your wheels and really firm up your ride for the ultimate in performance and handling. You cannot go wrong either way but some prefer just a subtle improvement in ride height and handling and some prefer a more extreme mod.

Feel free to check out the product pages below for full specs on the kits:

Yeah, me too.

How much does the H&R sport springs lower a E90 with sport package?

I'm almost positive:

1.5" in the front
1.3" in the rear

Sports package only lowered the car by 0.6"

Do the math......

It was funny that when I went to change the wheels on my car for the winter on the 335i, I realized just how low it sits even in comparison to my A4 with H&R Race Springs. I just went out to measure the two cars and the 335i Coupe with my winter wheels/tires gives me about 5.5" of clearance to the jack blocks. For comparison, my A4 has 5" of clearance to the lowest point of my side skirts. That means that with sport springs you are under 5" of clearance more or less on a 335i coupe.

The biggest difference is the aftermarket bumper and exhaust on the Audi since it gives me more or less 4" of clearance. I do not think I'd want to go that low again simply because I had too think too much when I drove the car.

In the end I guess I love that look w/ race springs but the sports are probably good enough for my tastes these days. It all comes down to what you can live with
