Getting ready for the M3 demos

I keep going back and forth on the thought of an M3 but given that the demo cars are starting to get to dealers I am definitely going to head on over and test drive one. I absolutely love my 335i and I know that there are great tuning options for the car that can give you a lot of power for a much lower cost but there is always going to be something about the M3 that draws me to it.

The even more interesting idea might be the 135i depending on how well that handles in relation to the 335i. I have always preferred a smaller car and it may actually fit the bill even more. Lots of interesting options coming up for the RWD enthusiast crowd

I can't wait to see how things keep progressing in the next couple years as well :woot:

335i -- Surprisingly good in the snow!

Coming from owning an Audi all wheel drive, I was more than a bit curious as to how the 335i was going to handle the inclement weather. Last year it seemed like I never really had to test it but this year we have had some more snow here and luckily I have been caught out in it :lmao:

My conclusion to this point is that the 335i actually rocks in the snow for the most part. Sure, there have been some interesting points in my traveling during inclement weather but generally speaking the car just goes without any problems. I even had to drive up a mountain road in the middle of the night with about 3" or so of fresh snow on completely untreated roads.

While there are probably plenty of you out there who may be a bit more hesitant to take the car out for a spin when there is a chance for bad weather...I can say that the car is more than capable given some common sense in driving and a decent set of snow tires. As you can imagine, the RWD can actually be a lot of fun in that kind of weather when no one else is around on the roads

New Blog -- Lets see how this thing works!

Well, this is the first entry in my blog about my 335i. I originally picked up my car back in November 2006 via the European Delivery program and had it re-delivered on December 23, 2006. The whole process of picking up the car in Europe was great and I actually think of the experience every time that I go out for a drive in my car.

I hope to talk about my experiences with my car and even reflect back on how great the car really is in comparison to my 1999 Audi A4 1.8t

Here is to a great run
