I think you chose a good setup...upgrading too much in the front is going to cause heavier and less precise steering, although you would have higher overall contact patches. 235/255 sounds about right for you, especially given the nature that you are looking at doing track work and you would be harder pressed to find Rcompound's if you so decided to run those.
